Established in 1990 by Peter Hawkes, our design house offers a self publishing service to assist authors in publishing their manuscripts on a wide range of subjects, from getting ISBN numbers and bar-coding their book, to graphic design, illustration and proof reading. We also specialise in publishing local history books, and are now branching out into the field of natural history.

With a background in typography and graphic design for print, we pride ourselves on attention to detail and customer service. We love working with the local community – retaining clients such as the Town Council and theatre for more than 20 years.

We also enjoy working with authors, photographers and other designers. In our archive is a collection of over 10,000 photographs and postcards. These are steadily being published in books for you to enjoy.

Please do get in touch if you have a manuscript or a project that we can help with.
