The Good Earth Gallery sells original, affordable art from the historic Laceys Yard in Chesham, where our themes are nature, roots and sunshine.

We showcase local artists and focus on Chiltern scenes, local history and wildlife images; also artworks from wood, clay and glass.

Our services

  • Picture framing service Includes canvas stretching, mounting and a range of glazing options including non-reflective glass and artglass.

  • Room rental There are three gallery rooms and an office/mailing room which we can rent to artists for workshops, exhibitions or as a quiet space to practice.

  • Creativity We enjoy working with local artists and are always happy to discuss new work and exhibitions - please phone to make an appointment. We’re looking forward to Bucks Art Weeks in June 2024.

  • Health & wellbeing There is a strong link between art and wellbeing. The calm, beautiful gallery space is used for evening meditation classes. We also stock a range of leaflets, posters and books on walks, gardening and wildlife. You’ll even find locally-made honey and apple juice.

  • Local history A broad range of local books and images are on sale at the gallery – of much use to the genealogist and historian. We have designed and published over 20 titles so far, with more in progress.

  • Gifts & greetings cards We specialise in cards by local artists and have a good stock of artisan gifts.

  • Plants & pots For sale in the yard. Do come and take a look!
